Last week I ran 5.33 miles and I took a 1 minute walk break after every 14 minutes. Today I ran the same distance but increased my number of walk breaks and today's total time was 57:25, only about 30 seconds slower than last week.

So with 2 minutes extra of walking I lost only 30 seconds, and it's really about getting practice in longer runs, and walk breaks are very healthy. I should really keep doing this on my longer runs.

Sasha rightfully advised me to wear long pants today (it's about 32 degrees today).

I've officially started my preparations for a half marathon in April. Last Sunday I ran 5.33 miles (in 56:54 minutes), and I plan to run the same distance this Sunday.

I ran again on Tuesday (fairly slow) and I'm planning to run tonight.
