Psephology /sᵻˈfɒlədʒi/ (from Greek psephos ψῆφος, 'pebble', as the Greeks used pebbles as ballots) is a branch of political science which deals with the study and scientific analysis of elections.

Found this while reading an article in The Economist. The whole sentence was: "But Sir David Butler, a nonagenarian psephologist at Oxford University, noted on Twitter that in the 20 general-election campaigns he has followed, “I can’t remember a U-turn on this scale.” "

A nonagenarian is a person who is from 90 to 99 years old.

Entertaining read by the author of Het Diner. Both books share similarities, though this is just a short novelle. Interesting turn at the end.

Joost and Ankie gave us this book.

Wow, it's been a long time since I've ran. In Perushtitsa I didn't see an opportunity to run, and then last week with the time difference we were all out of whack, plus I didn't want to do anything that could increase the changes of getting sick, with Joost's visit coming up.

Joost and Ankie have left, so tonight I went for my 4.5 mile run. Went well, I took an extra walk break but I wasn't too tired. Couldn't find my watch.
